Safari Overview

The safari takes you through the villages of The Pearl of Africa. As you trail to a destination gifted by nature, once described as the 7th must-visit park in the whole of Africa. With a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, visit the magnificent Murchison falls, the unforgettable hike to the top of the falls and the sprawling delta that teems with all types of wildlife and bird species combine to give this park a huge allure. Day-by-Day Itinerary

DAY 1

Kampala to Murchison Falls

Detour at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

Your guide/driver will pick you up from Entebbe Airport in the morning and head out to the North-west, through the famous Luwero Triangle and Masindi town, to Murchison Falls National Park. En-route, make a stopover at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for an hour of Rhino trekking and the Big Five experience. We shall then proceed to Masindi town for lunch, and then proceed to the park, marvel at the Nile's beauty perfected, check into your accommodation, and enjoy the rest of the evening.

DAY 2

Game Drive, Boat Cruise & Hike

Hike to the Top of the Falls

After an early breakfast, we shall have a game drive via the Nyamsika plateau, enjoy the view and you may see some of the big five like (elephant, lion, buffalo, leopard and rhinoceros), warthogs, bush back, water buck, hartebeests and many more. The plateau offers panoramic scenic views of the surrounding landscape. Return to the lodge for refreshment and lunch, then after prepare for a boat cruise trip on a placid Victoria Nile, upstream, to the base of the fall. This boat cruise is said to be the highlight of the safari. It will allow you to get up close to the animals in the water. After that, we shall then proceed for a hike from the bottom to the top of Murchison falls. This iconic hike offers spectacular sceneries created by the falls. Thereafter, return to your accommodation.

DAY 3

Depart Murchison Falls

Return to Entebbe Airport

After an early morning breakfast, we go hiking to the top of the falls (in case you were unable to hike the previous day), and thereafter depart with your leisurely drive to Kampala, and connect to Entebbe Airport.
